With the recent wet and windy weather, we are reminding homeowners about our loan scheme to replace draughty, inefficient windows. The scheme has been developed in partnership with local councils to ensure homeowners enjoy warm, safe and dry homes, which is even more important in the winter weather. A local homeowner who benefitted from the scheme said: “The house is now warmer and knowing that I could get help from my local authority made me feel much more secure”.
A loan funded by one of our twenty partner councils could help spread the cost of new windows but enable you to enjoy the benefits right away. You are able to choose your own contractor and there are a variety of loan products available to meet individual needs and means.
Lendology CIC is the not-for-profit Responsible Finance provider working in close partnership with local councils. The partnership has been running for over ten years across the South West. Through providing home improvement loans instead of home improvement grants, councils are ensuring that funds for homeowners are sustainable which means that every repayment goes back into the council pot to lend to homeowners into the future.
