We all know that talking about money is tough. With the cost of living and energy crisis, we have found people are now opening up about money, having difficult conversations about everything from income, outgoings, energy bills, pensions, property and credit.
Talk Money Week is a national campaign organised by the Money and Pensions Service. This year’s theme is ‘credit’. Credit can be complex, challenging and inaccessible. Talking about credit can help everyone to understand loan products, loan options and other options.
Across Talk Money Week, Team Lendology will be sharing their money and budgeting tips as well as explaining key words and things to think about when considering a home improvement loan, and how to compare different loan rates, charges and products.
At Lendology, we talk money every day. We understand how personal everyone’s finances are, and do not judge. We work with partners to provide complementary services, such as Inbest, who provide a free benefits calculator to help households maximise their income.
We support a wide range of applicants, meaning that many of our customers are able to access a home improvement loan if they are retired, self-employed, or in receipt of benefits. Our loans are funded by local councils. This means that we can offer lower interest rates, regardless of how much you borrow or your credit history. Your local council policy will determine who is eligible to apply for a loan and the home works that are eligible.
Representative Example (4% fixed interest rate, Representative 4.2% APR).
Loans are subject to status and are typically protected by a Title Restriction.
