Why the Armed Forces Covenant is so important to us

No member of the Armed Forces Community should face disadvantage in the provision of public and commercial services compared to any other citizen.
Yet if you are or have been a member of the Armed Forces, access to credit can sometimes be a challenge. When your job involves, or has involved, moving regularly it can be challenging to build a good credit rating. Your last 3 years’ address history may be long or hard to keep track of and can often involve addresses from abroad, or BFPO codes. This often extends to your family members too.
We do not want any member of the Armed Forces to be excluded from access to credit at reasonable rates and are therefore proud signatories of the Armed Forces Covenant.
At Lendology, we do not make our lending decisions based on credit scoring. Instead, your dedicated loans adviser works with you to complete the application form and make a decision based on their knowledge of your circumstances, instead of a computer-generated answer!
The same range of products at the same fixed interest rate is available for members of the Armed Forces Community. All citizens are treated with the same level of care and respect no matter what their circumstances or background.
Our commitment to you is this: we are here to understand your circumstances.
If a loan is right for you, we will be able to lend at the same rate as any other qualifying citizen, even if your address history and credit score are not the norm due to your service for our country.

Armed Forces Day is a chance to show your support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets. There are many ways for people, communities and organisations across the country to show their support and get involved. Armed Forces Day takes place on the last Saturday each June. In 2020, it will take place on Saturday 27 June.
