Lendology is pleased to be offering homeowners and landlords across Bath and North East Somerset low-cost loans to improve the energy efficiency of properties, or to install renewable energy measures such as solar PV panels.
The ‘Energy Loans’ are offered at 4.2% fixed for the term of the loan and with flexible repayment arrangements. Anyone who owns a property in Bath and North East Somerset is eligible for the loan, subject to their ability to make the repayments which are assessed by Lendology Loan advisers.
Chief Executive of Lendology, Emma Lower, said: “The climate emergency declared by the Government is a very real concern for many people. By using renewable energy and improving the energy efficiency of homes we can all help to tackle the issues around climate change.
Installation of renewable energy measures is often cost-prohibitive for many people, which is why I’m delighted that we can offer low-cost loans to help people to spread the cost and to make payments more manageable.”
The loans can be used to pay for insulation, Solar PV and other renewable energy installations.
The loans range from £500 to £15,000 and have repayment terms of between six months to 15 years.
Once loans have been approved, homeowners can select their own contractors* to carry out the work who can be paid directly once the completion of the work is confirmed.
Loans are subject to status. Missing payments could affect your credit rating and ability to obtain credit in the future. Lendology CIC may insist on loans being protected at the Land Registry by a Title Restriction.
