Lendology Celebrates Four Years as a Carbon Neutral Organisation

It’s official: Lendology is now a Carbon Neutral certified organisation for the fourth year running.

We believe in doing business the right way – not just for people, but for the planet too. That’s why we’re absolutely delighted to share that we’ve achieved Carbon Neutral organisation status for the fourth year running!

With every email, every commute – we have accounted for it. In 2024, our measured footprint came to 30.30 tonnes of CO₂, which we’ve fully offset via the Carbon Neutral Britain Woodland Fund. This supports global reforestation and clean energy projects that align with our mission: improving lives through inclusive, sustainable finance.

What Does It Mean to Be a Carbon Neutral Organisation?

Carbon neutrality isn’t just about ticking a box. It’s about balancing what we take with what we give back. Put simply, being a Carbon Neutral organisation means we’ve measured the carbon impact of everything from our office energy use to staff travel – and fully offset it through projects that actively reduce or remove emissions from the atmosphere.

We’re also incredibly fortunate to work from offices powered by solar panels and a heat pump —practising what we preach and reducing our own energy consumption at the source.

This commitment is part of a bigger picture. We’re building a business that’s accountable, responsible, and climate conscious.

Greener Home, Greener Future

We’re constantly looking at ways to lower our emissions each year, from making our day-to-day operations more energy efficient to encouraging sustainable choices across our team.

As a B Corp and social enterprise, we also help homeowners across the UK to fund energy-efficient and low-carbon home improvements – from solar panels to insulation – making homes warmer, healthier, and more sustainable. You can read some of their stories on our Success Stories page

Making a Difference Together

This certification isn’t just about us – it’s about our community too. Every homeowner we support, every loan we deliver, every partnership we build, helps drive change where it matters most.

We’re incredibly proud to work with Carbon Neutral Britain once again, and grateful to our team, partners and homeowners for being part of this journey with us.

Together, we really can make a difference.

Our Impact – Beyond Carbon Neutrality

At Lendology, our commitment to making a positive difference goes beyond just being a Carbon Neutral organisation. Since 2005, we’ve been supporting homeowners and communities with responsible finance that helps improve homes, reduce energy bills, and tackle fuel poverty.

As a social enterprise and B Corp, we focus on creating lasting social and environmental impact — from supporting low-carbon home improvements to fostering healthier, warmer homes for people across the UK.

Representative Example (4% fixed interest rate, Representative 4.2% APR).

Loans are subject to status and are typically protected by a Title Restriction.

Borrow £5,000 over 60 months, £92.08 monthly repayments. Total amount repayable = £5,544.96, including £20 fee for registering the Title Restriction against your property at the Land Registry. The £20.00 fee is only payable if a loan is agreed by Lendology and you decide to proceed with a loan. We do not charge interest on the fee. A Title Restriction means that you may not be able to sell your home without our permission unless the loan is fully repaid. This is a financial promotion approved by Lendology CIC. Missing payments could affect your credit rating and ability to obtain credit in the future.
