Lending Done Differently

What does a financial assessment involve?

Written by Emma Lower, Chief Executive

We want everyone to have access to fair and friendly finance and to achieve this, our free, no-obligation financial assessments are face-to-face appointments with an expert adviser. This appointment lasts approximately an hour and is an opportunity for you to find out if we could lend in principle, and what a loan would look like for you based on your circumstances.

There is no obligation to proceed with a loan application at or after this appointment, but if you do proceed, your adviser and our team will support you throughout your application.

At the appointment, your adviser will discuss your income which can be from a variety of sources (for example your salary, self-employed earnings, benefits, pension, maintenance, rental income). They will then go through your monthly outgoings including everything from mortgage repayments, utility bills, travel costs, food and other household costs and any existing borrowing repayments to get an idea of your ‘disposable’ income. Once we have this information, we can look at the best loan product for you and discuss the different options.  Don’t worry, we will explain all of this and more at the appointment!

To book an appointment or to have an informal chat about your circumstances, contact us now.
