Our Carbon Commitment

Here at Lendology CIC, we have a commitment to the environment and strive to be conscious and sustainable in our approach to both delivering finance and in our operations across our organisation.

We are extremely passionate about tackling fuel poverty, reducing carbon emissions, combating air pollution, and addressing climate change.

By providing accessible finance, we’re able to support homeowners to fund a range of retrofit measures from wall insulation to double or triple glazed windows, to solar panels and solar battery storage, through to renewable heating systems.

Our retrofit measures may support others to reduce their carbon footprint, so it’s important that as an organisation we do the same.

Over the last few years, we’ve worked hard to reduce our footprint by reducing our energy and water usage, business travel and recycling and re-filling where possible.

We started working with Carbon Neutral Britain in 2022 to calculate and externally audit our carbon footprint and then offset our remaining emissions.

We are delighted to announce that we are retrofit measures. Our total carbon emissions for 2022 were 11.38 tCO2e. Working with Carbon Neutral Britain, this has now been offset through renewable projects around the world.

With our Carbon Emissions Report and new recommendations to hand, we are now looking at ways to further decrease/conserve our already low carbon footprint. One way we wish to achieve this is by focusing on team member commuting emissions by encouraging the use of public transport and car-sharing, as well as installing water reduction products in our restroom facilities.
