Lending Done Differently

What are the average home repair costs?

Written by Emma Lower, Chief Executive

If you are a homeowner, you are likely to be aware of the ongoing repair and maintenance costs that owning a house requires.  Some jobs may be small, but critical, such as cleaning or replacing guttering and fascia boards.  Other repairs can be much larger and consequently, more costly such as a replacement roof or structural repairs.

Knowing what to expect when you start speaking to contractors can be useful, although the cost of works will very much depend on the size of your home and the complexity of the problem.

It can be hard to finance repairs upfront, particularly where the costs are significant.  Here at Lendology, our home improvement loans are most often used to fund replacement central heating systems or roof replacements.  These are two important aspects of home maintenance that ensure you are kept warm, safe, and dry in your home.
