We are proud to announce that we are now members of Community Energy England. ‘Community energy’ refers to the delivery of community-led renewable energy, energy demand reduction and energy supply projects.
Founded in 2014 Community Energy England now has over 280 members, whether these are community energy organisations or other key stakeholders. Delivering expertise, impact and networking opportunities, Community Energy England is the only organisation committed to supporting and representing the sector.
Emma Lower, CEO at Lendology said: “Communities across the UK have been providing ground-up, local innovation in energy supply and demand for years, quietly trying to remove the dependence on national networks and reduce carbon emissions. It has become even more critical with the cost of living and energy crisis to support and embed the provision of community-led energy projects, and Lendology are thrilled to be able to play our part as a member”.
Our membership of the group helps get Lendology connected across the sector and support its growth, whether via partnership finance provision or our consultancy expertise.
